How to factory reset iPhone? If you want to sell your
iPhone X or iPhone 7 then you will have to hard reset
the device, this method can also used to hard reset
iPhone 8 and iPhone 6 too. Install “iPhone Data
Eraser” and then connect your iPhone to the laptop via
USB cable. After it detects your iPhone, select the
option to erase data, select “Erase Private Data.”
Despite this operation not all data on your iPhone is
deleted and is hence recoverable. To do that now
select “Erase Deleted Data” to completely wipe out all
data. You will not require the Apple ID to reset your
iPhone by the above method.
