game? We got you covered.Live Blog3:24 PM: The Chiefs score a touchdown thanks
in part to Hill beating Jalen for about a 40 yard gain, and is capped with a
Kareem Hunt run for six. 30-7, Chiefs. The Jaguars try to get some garbage time
momentum, and Bortles is intercepted for a third time today. See you guys next
week for Dallas.3:!6 PM: Garbage-time Bortles gets a big completion to Cole then
hits Yeldon on a wheel route for the Jaguars touchdown. 23-7, as we near the end
of the third quarter. Yippee.3:09 PM: The Jaguars had the ball for a commercial
break before punting back to the Chiefs, who marched down the field once again
and kick another field goal. It¡¯s 23-0 and this game can¡¯t end fast enough.2:52
PM: The Chiefs opening drive of the half stalls out as the Jags defense answers
the call so that we can get the offense out here. Let¡¯s see how they comically
blow this possession!2:36 PM: Blake Bortles threw an unhurried pass off the
helmet of AJ Cann and into the arms of a Chiefs defender in the end zone to end
the half. I¡¯m going to now partake in inhibiting my alcoholism.2:20 PM: Blake
Bortles tries to lob a screen to Yeldon and puts it into the hands of a Chiefs
lineman, who runs it back for a touchdown. This game is done, folks. 20-0
Chiefs.2:18 PM: The Jaguars defense holds the Chiefs luckily to a field goal, as
Yannick Ngakoue gets a sack on 3rd and goal. Big play of the drive was a long
catch and run from tight end Travis Kelce. 13-0 Chiefs.2:10 PM: And just like
that, the Chiefs get it right back as Dee Ford beats Parnell around the edge and
strips Bortles, recovered by KC.2:07 PM: INTERCEPTION! Tashaun Gipson gets the
first interception of the year by the Jags secondary, as the Chiefs were
mounting another drive. 2:05 PM: Corey Grant is OUT with a foot injury.2:00 PM:
The Jaguars offense finally gets going, marching down the field thanks mostly to
the legs of TJ Yeldon.....but they go for it on 4th & 2 from the Chiefs 5
yard line and fail to convert. The two play calls on 3rd & 4th down were God
awful. Chiefs lead 10-0.1:43 PM: The Chiefs go 82 yards in over six minutes, and
are stopped just short of the end zone by the Jags defense, but convert the
field goal to go up, 10-0. The Jaguars are getting manhandled on both lines of
scrimmage thus far, and that¡¯s all you need to know about why the team is
trailing. If it doesn¡¯t change, it¡¯s going to be blow out time.1:28 PM: The next
Jags drive starts off promising as Blake hits DJ Chark deep for about 30
yards

but a sack allowed by AJ Cann, and two overthrows to Moncrief on two deep posts,
shuts it down. Jags punt back to the Chiefs, who take over inside their 20.1:22
PM: Chiefs take their first possession and have their way with the defense, like
no one has had this season. Mahomes converts two 3rd downs, Kelce takes a pass
25 yards, and the drive is capped by Mahomes running it in from 6 yards out. The
Jags have to score on this drive, or this game is going to be a blow out, it
appears. 7-0 Chiefs.1:07 PM:Jaguars open the game converting on a 3rd down pass
from Bortles to Keelan Cole, but the drive stalls quickly after following a
dropped screen to Yeldon and a way inaccurate throw to O¡¯Shaughnessy. Jaguars
wisely punt away from Tyreek Hill and Chiefs will start at their 30.1:00 PM:
It¡¯s time, Jaguars will receive with a pouring rain coming down.11:55 AM:
Telvin¡¯s cleats are impressive.11:51 AM: It¡¯s going to be the worst weather the
Jags have played in since last season¡¯s game at Cleveland. This is a game you
wish you had your Pro Bowl caliber power running back.11:33 AM: No surprises on
the Jags inactives, thankfully.Rookie undrafted free agent Quenton Meeks will
fill in for Tre Herndon on special teams.11:15 AM: Good morning! There is a lot
of rain already falling at Arrowhead Stadium today, and more is in the forecast
as the day plays out. It will be interesting to see how the running games for
both teams play today, as I really feel that may make the difference. The
inactives for each team will arrive shortly. The Jacksonville Jaguars are at a
crossroads right now, following three straight losses, and Sunday¡¯s game in
London against the Philadelphia Eagles is a must-win game. If the Jags fall to
3-5, that may be an impossible hole to climb out of. The problem? The Eagles are
also 3-4 and hungry for a victory. Similarly to its opponent this week,
Philadelphia is in a must-win situation. What happens on Sunday remains to be
seen, but what we can look back on is the brief history between these two NFL
franchises. Series historyAll-time regular season series record: Jaguars lead

Jacksonville
Jaguars T-Shirt , 2010)Interesting takeaway: The Jaguars lead the all-time
series, but have been outscored 114-99. Jacksonville outscored Philly 79-52 in
the first three games, but the Eagles have dominated the last two meetings by a
combined score of 62-20. Quick thoughts: There isn¡¯t a ton to draw from here.
The Jaguars won the first three meetings, while the Eagles have taken the last
two. Jacksonville is 2-1 as the home team in this series, and though the game
will not be played at TIAA Bank Field, Jacksonville is the designated home team
for this year¡¯s contest. Three of the five games have been decided by at least
17 points, while the 2002 and 2006 matchups were decided by a combined 10 points
(both won by the Jaguars).Previous Matchup: Winner: EaglesScore: 34-17Date:

the first game of the 2014 season, and Chad Henne drew the start over rookie
Blake Bortles. The Jaguars jumped out to a 17-0 lead as Henne found an early
connection with undrafted free agent Allen Hurns, who made an immediate splash
in his NFL career with two touchdown catches in the first quarter. The second
half was all Eagles, though. Darren Sproles got the ball rolling with a 49 yard
rushing touchdown and a flurry of scoring ensued from there for Philly. The
Eagles had scored 27 unanswered points, and to add insult to injury, Trent Cole
stripped sacked Chad Henne (it¡¯s not just a Bortles thing) late in the fourth
quarter, which was returned for a touchdown by Fletcher Cox. Prior

Jaguars Hats , 16 first downsEagles¡ª 291 passing yards, 106 rushing yards,
15 first downsQuick recap: This was an ugly game all the way around for the
Jaguars. Mike Vick tore up the Jacksonville secondary for 291 yards, three
touchdowns and zero interceptions. Vick also had 30 yards rushing and an
additional touchdown on the ground. David Garrard, on the other hand, struggled,
completing just 13 of 30 passes for 105 yards and an interception. He was also
sacked seven times. Maurice Jones-Drew mustered 88 yards on the ground, but the
offense couldn¡¯t get anything going (sounds familiar). The Eagles were up 14-3
at halftime, and never looked back from there, adding two more second half
touchdowns. The Jags never even threatened. Through the Decades1990s: Jaguars
1-02000-2010: Jaguars 2-12011-Present: Eagles 1-0Quick thoughts: Again, not a
lot of history or drama between these two teams, but the Jaguars easily took the
first ever meeting in 1997 with a 38-21 victory. Jacksonville then won the next
two matchups in 2002 and 2006, before Philly finally got its first ever win
against Jacksonville in 2010. The Eagles then soundly beat the Jaguars once
again in 2014. Interestingly, the five all-time games against the Eagles are
tied with the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers and St.Louis/Los Angeles
Rams for the lowest amount of meetings ever for the Jags against NFL franchises.
Since this year¡¯s game is going to be played across the pond, I think the
advantage this week goes to Jacksonville. The Jaguars have all of the experience
in this international situation, while the Eagles have never made the trip to
the U.K. The players who have done it before understand the travel, atmosphere
and other nuances that come with a week like this. There¡¯s a reason why the
majority of teams have lost their first game played in London, while two others
tied. It¡¯s a different dynamic, and it does make a difference. This was very
nearly the Super Bowl LII matchup. Now, both teams are struggling and in need of
a win. What happens in the U.K. on Sunday?
